feedwisely Health Privacy Notice

Effective date: October 3, 2026

This notice explains how feedwisely collects, uses and shares your consumer health data, and the rights you have over it. It is written for US state health-privacy laws such as Washington's My Health My Data Act and similar consumer health data laws in Nevada and Connecticut. It is part of our Privacy Policy, which covers all other information.

feedwisely is provided by Mohd Aqib, an individual based in India ("feedwisely", "we", "us"). Contact: support@feedwisely.com.

We do not sell your consumer health data. We do not use it for advertising.

1. What "consumer health data" means here

Consumer health data is information linked, or reasonably linkable, to you that describes your past, present or future physical or mental health. In feedwisely, that includes your body measurements, weight, food intake, goals (including the goal type: lose, maintain or gain) and the targets we calculate from them. The fact that you use a nutrition and weight app may itself be consumer health data, and we treat it that way.

2. The consumer health data we collect

We do not ask for your sex. We do not collect precise location, Health Connect data, or any diagnosis, medication or reproductive-health information.

3. Why we collect and use it

We use your consumer health data only to provide the feedwisely service you asked for:

We do not use it for advertising, and we do not use it to make decisions about you outside the app. We do not put health values in our analytics or crash reports.

4. Who we share it with

We disclose consumer health data only to the service providers (processors) below, who process it on our instructions, under contract, and only to provide the Service. We do not sell it, and we do not "share" it (give it to anyone for their own purposes). We disclose it to anyone else only when the law requires it, for example a valid court order. If the business is ever sold or merged, your consumer health data moves to the new owner only with your consent where the law requires it.

ProcessorWhat it receivesWhy
Google Firebase (Google LLC): Cloud FirestoreAll the data in section 2 that is saved to your account, linked to your account (Firebase Authentication holds your sign-in details, not your health data)To store your data and sync it between your phone and our servers
Google Gemini via Firebase AI Logic (Google LLC)The meal photo or description you send, at the moment of analysisTo estimate the foods in your meal
Open Food FactsThe text of a brand-name food search or a barcode number (no account ID, no health values)To find brand-name foods. A search or barcode may reveal what you eat

About meal photos: Your photo goes to Google's Gemini AI to read your meal. feedwisely doesn't keep it, and Google doesn't use it for training. The app removes the photo's location data before sending it and deletes its own copies right after the analysis. feedwisely uses the paid Gemini API, under which Google doesn't use your photo or text to train its models. Google may keep requests for a limited time to detect abuse, as its terms allow.

These providers do not receive consumer health data:

All of the providers named in this section act as our processors or service providers: Google (Firebase, Gemini, Crashlytics and Google Play), RevenueCat, PostHog and Open Food Facts.

We collect and use your consumer health data only with your consent.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by:

Because feedwisely can't work without your health data, withdrawing consent means deleting your account. We then stop collecting your consumer health data and delete it, with everything else in your account, within 30 days, including our RevenueCat and PostHog records. Google Play keeps its own order records. Deleting your account does not cancel your Google Play subscription; cancel it in Google Play.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

How to make a request. Email support@feedwisely.com from the email address on your account, so we can verify it is you. We will respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we may extend this once by another 45 days, and we'll tell you why within the first 45 days.

8. How long we keep it and how we protect it

9. Changes to this notice
