feedwisely Terms of Service
Effective date: October 3, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Mohd Aqib, an individual based in India ("feedwisely", "we", "us"). They cover the feedwisely app for Android and the related web pages at feedwisely.com (together, the "Service").
By starting a subscription or creating an account, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
1. The Service
feedwisely is a calorie and macro tracker. It lets you:
- answer questions about your body, activity and goal, and get an estimate of your daily energy expenditure;
- get daily calorie, protein, fat and carb targets (your "program");
- log food by searching a built-in food list, scanning a barcode, adding calories by hand (Quick Add), or asking an AI to estimate a meal from a photo or a typed description;
- log your weight and see your trend weight and expenditure over time;
- review your targets at a weekly check-in, which may suggest new targets based on your logs and weigh-ins.
The Service gives general information to help you track what you eat. It is not a medical service. See section 6 and our Health Disclaimer.
2. Who can use feedwisely
- Age. You must be at least 18 years old. The app asks for your birth date and does not let anyone under 18 continue.
- Location. The Service is offered only in the United States, through the US Google Play Store.
- Device. The app runs on Android phones and needs Google Play to subscribe.
By using the Service, you confirm that you meet these requirements.
3. Your account
- You create an account with Google sign-in or with an email address and password.
- Keep your login details private. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- Give accurate information. Your targets are calculated from your answers, so wrong answers lead to wrong targets.
- One account is for one person. Don't share it or let others use it.
- If you think someone else has used your account, contact us at support@feedwisely.com.
4. Subscriptions, free trial and billing
Plans. feedwisely needs a paid subscription. There are two plans: Monthly and Yearly. The current price of each plan is shown in the app and on the Google Play purchase sheet before you buy. Prices come from Google Play and may include taxes as Google Play applies them.
Free trial. If you are eligible, either plan starts with a 7-day free trial. Each person gets one free trial in total, across both plans. Google Play decides eligibility. If you are not eligible, the app shows the plan without a trial and you are charged when you subscribe.
Payment through Google Play. All purchases are made and billed through Google Play, under Google Play's terms. We don't receive or store your card or other payment details.
Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period (each month or each year) at the then-current price until you cancel. If you start with a free trial, you will be charged the plan's price when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. The app shows the date the trial ends and the price that follows before you start.
How to cancel. You can cancel anytime in Google Play (Google Play app › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions, or the "Manage in Google Play" link in the app under More › Subscription). When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for (or the end of the trial), and you won't be charged again.
Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. If you delete your feedwisely account, you must also cancel in Google Play to stop being charged. The app reminds you of this on the deletion page.
Refunds. Refunds are handled by Google Play under Google Play's refund policies. You can also email support@feedwisely.com about a charge, and we'll review your request. This doesn't promise a refund, except where section 11 or the law says otherwise.
Payment problems. If a renewal payment fails, Google Play may keep trying for a period of time. The app will ask you to fix your payment in Google Play. If the payment isn't fixed, your access ends.
Restoring a purchase. If you reinstall the app or change phones, use "Restore purchase" in the app to restore an active subscription bought with the same Google Play account.
Price changes. If the price of your plan changes, we'll tell you before the new price applies to your subscription, and Google Play will also tell you in advance as its policies require. Where the law or Google Play requires it, Google Play will ask you to agree to the new price; if you don't, your subscription ends at the end of the period you have already paid for.
5. Your content and data
You keep ownership of what you put into feedwisely, such as your food logs, weigh-ins and notes. You give us permission to store and process it only to run the Service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy and Health Privacy Notice. We don't sell your data.
6. Not medical advice
feedwisely is not a medical device and does not give medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Calorie and macro targets, expenditure estimates, goal dates and AI meal estimates are estimates for general information only. Talk to a doctor or a registered dietitian before you start or change a diet, especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have or have had an eating disorder. Read our full Health Disclaimer.
7. AI meal estimates
- When you use Snap (photo) or Describe (text), your photo or description is sent to Google's Gemini AI to estimate the foods, amounts, calories and nutrients.
- AI estimates can be wrong, sometimes by a lot. The app says so: "The AI can get things wrong. Check its results before you log." Always check and edit the result before you log it.
- You are responsible for what you log. Don't rely on AI estimates where accuracy matters for your health.
- Only send photos of food. Don't send photos of people, documents or anything private.
- You can tell us about a wrong result with "Report a problem". The report saves the dish result and your note, never the photo or the description you typed.
- AI logging can be paused at times (for example, when usage limits are reached). Search and Quick Add still work when it is.
8. Food data from third parties
- Everyday foods come from the US Department of Agriculture's FoodData Central, built into the app.
- Brand-name foods and barcode lookups come from Open Food Facts, a free, open, collaborative database, under the Open Database License (ODbL).
- This data is provided by others. It may be incomplete or wrong, and product recipes change. We don't guarantee its accuracy. Check the label of the product you are eating where it matters.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service if you are under 18 or outside the United States;
- break the law or anyone else's rights while using the Service;
- send content to the AI that is unlawful, abusive, sexual, or that shows other people without their permission;
- try to get around subscription checks, usage limits or security features (including App Check), or access another person's account or data;
- copy, scrape, resell or redistribute the Service, its food data or its AI results as your own product;
- reverse engineer the app, except where the law allows it;
- overload or disrupt the Service, or use bots or scripts to make requests;
- use the Service to build a competing product.
10. Intellectual property
The Service, including the app, its design, text, graphics, food pictures, logo and software, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by law. We give you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the app on your Android devices for your own non-commercial use while your subscription is active and you follow these Terms. Open-source parts of the app are covered by their own licenses, listed in the app under More › About › Open-source licenses. Open Food Facts data is available under the ODbL; USDA data is in the public domain.
11. Ending your use and deleting your account
You can stop anytime. You can delete your account in the app (More › Account & Data Deletion) or ask on our website at https://feedwisely.com/delete-account. Deleting your account permanently removes your account and its data, as described in the Privacy Policy. It doesn't cancel your Google Play subscription; cancel that in Google Play.
We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. Where reasonable, we'll tell you first. If we end your access without cause (that is, not because you broke these Terms) and you have a prepaid Yearly subscription, we'll refund the unused full months.
We may change or stop the Service. If we stop offering the Service, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice in the app or by email. If you have a prepaid Yearly subscription when the Service closes, we'll refund the unused full months.
Sections 5, 8, 10, 12, 13, 14 and 15 survive after your use ends.
12. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We don't promise that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that estimates, targets or food data will be accurate, or that you will reach any weight or health result. Some states don't allow certain disclaimers, so some of these may not apply to you.
13. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS:
- WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE;
- WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY HARM TO YOUR HEALTH ARISING FROM DECISIONS YOU MAKE BASED ON ESTIMATES, TARGETS, AI RESULTS OR FOOD DATA IN THE SERVICE;
- OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AND US $50.
Some states don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
14. Your consumer rights and disputes
Nothing in these Terms limits the rights you have under the consumer protection laws of the state where you live.
If you have a problem with the Service, please contact us first at support@feedwisely.com so we can try to resolve it informally.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We'll post the new version with a new effective date. If a change is material, we'll tell you in the app and by email at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you keep using the Service after the change takes effect, you accept the new Terms. If you don't agree, cancel your subscription and delete your account.
16. Other terms
- These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Health Disclaimer and the Health Privacy Notice are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service.
- If a part of these Terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
- If we don't enforce a right, we haven't given it up.
- You can't transfer these Terms to anyone else. We may transfer them as part of a merger, sale or reorganization.
- Google is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the Service. Your use of Google Play is covered by Google's own terms.
